Oral History for Transformation: Inclusivity, Democracy, and Equality

Masterclass 

In connection with the upcoming 3rd International Conference on History, Social Sciences, and Education (ICHSE), a masterclass for a limited number of researchers, educators, activists, artists, practitioners, and communities from diverse backgrounds will be held on the second day of ICHSE, 6 August 2026. 

The selection committee will favor candidates from underrepresented communities and institutions with limited research resources, particularly those working on oral history and community-engaged research addressing contemporary social challenges. 

Aim
The aim of this masterclass is to provide a platform for sharing research and practices on oral history and its role in promoting inclusivity, democracy, and social transformation in history, social sciences, and education. This masterclass is meant for researchers, educators, activists, artists, practitioners, and communities from diverse backgrounds.
